DISPOSAL
I guess I would like to float in space. But not burnt. In a spacesuit, like Frank Poole in "2001 - A Space Odyssey". Drifting. If that doesn't work, I want to be buried in some beautiful place. I trust my family to choose a pretty one.

COFFIN
You know this photon torpedo they put Spock's body in in Star Trek II? Something like that would be quite cool. Black. Red silk inside. And a white cushion to lay my head on.

RELIGION
I am roman-catholic. Some time ago, I thought of converting to jewish faith. I was much into Paul Auster at that time and to be jewish seemed to be very cool in his books (read "Hand to Mouth" for that matter). Maybe it was also a misunderstanding of the concept anti-fascism. I am anti-fascist (I guess most of you are; it's not that big thing) but I need not be jewish to have a reason to hate Nazis.

GUESTS

MUSIC
In my lifetime, I was quite famous for my mix tapes. Maybe all the girls I ever recorded a tape for should choose their personal favourite from these and play it at the funeral. I recommend "Alles gar nicht wahr" by the german indie rock band "Die Regierung" and "Cast a Shadow" by Beat Happening (although the Yo La Tengo version of this song is also pretty neat).

READINGS
"Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell was Oh no, not again. Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly why the bowl of petunias had thought that we would knew a lot more about the nature of the Universe than we do now." (Douglas Adams, "The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy", Chapter 18)

EPITAPH
I'm caught in a trap and I can't walk out because I love you too much, baby.

OBITUARY
Now, as life proceeds and I am no longer with it, I could imagine there are still things left undone and maybe I would be worried about that if I were still alive. I had the opportunity to spend most of my life with pleasant people. Thanks to them. I was listening to some of the finest music on this planet, I'm thankful for that, too. I remember being dead drunk in the summer of '96 for the first time in my life, I fell in love with a beautiful girl, but it didn't work out right. The parents of a friend of mine were on vacation and we had a punk concert in their living room, uninvited guests smashed some of the interieur. We bound a guy to a lamppost with his own trousers. Never again I saw such large amounts of vomit anywhere else. Man, if I had that summer back again. I guess now it's time to go. I love you. At least some of you.
